How can people affect positive change? This has long been a question to us. We find the answer ever more frustrating.

Lethbridge is a great city for many reasons. It’s a nice size for commuting, quality of life vs cost of living is high. It has benefited from a conservatism in mindset we believe is driven by our city being located smack dab in the heart of agricultural Alberta. This is for the most part not a bad thing.

We have been attempting to usher clients into buildings with higher efficiency and less utility costs for some time. Our vision of sustainability meshes costs against initiatives. The road block is many times the back end of the equation-the sourcing of products. Contractors do not want to go to the hassle of sourcing new products as they are time intensive and likewise encounter resistance from their wholesalers. This is why we started the Leftorium.

The Leftorium is aptly named from Ned Flanders odd-ball collection of one-off’s. We couldn’t think of a better name for what seems to be the oddest collection of goods. These goods are marginally marked up with the intention of affecting change in the Lethbridge marketplace. Thank you for your patience as we slowly get this going. This is not a real money maker for us, but we think it’s important nonetheless.
